He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas E. and Pauline Miakos, Sr. (Passaro); his son Francis "Frank" Miakos; his brother Michael Miakos; and his granddaughter Victoria Lynn.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Miakos (McCall); his children, Debra Kinsman (Douglas) of Trumbull, Pamela Miakos (Sharon) of Naugatuck, Theresa Altan (Mike) of Trumbull and Nicholas Miakos III (Gina) of Stratford; his grandchildren, Nichole, Douglas Jr. (Alicia), Daniel (Dale), Noel (Jorge), Samantha (Niko), Erika (Sagar), Mikhail (Elena), Nicholas IV and Amanda (Ryan); his great grandchildren, Jorgie, Kyelan, Jackson, Sawyer, Dougie, Manny, Vida, Patrick, Rory and Lena; and his sister Marie Renzo of Trumbull.
