It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph C. Mercieri Sr. in Bristol, Connecticut, who passed away on July 29, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, Joseph is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Joseph's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlo Charles Mercieri and Vita Lucia Mercieri (Bellantuono); and his wife Dolly (Rossi). He is survived by: his sons, Joe Mercieri, Jr. (Janice) and David Mercieri (Lorraine); and his siblings, John Mercieri (Shirley) and Rose Guarda (Vincent). He is also survived by grandchildren; eight adored great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery (110 Daniel Webster Hwy, Boscawen, NH 03303). A reception will be held on Thursday, August 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at 1 Gulf St, Concord, NH 03301.
