She was predeceased by: her daughter Kimberly Marie Starks; and her brothers, Thomas Gwynn, Jr. and Robert Gwynn. She is survived by: her husband Charles E. Byrd, Sr.; her son Charles E. Byrd, Jr. of Bristol, CT; her siblings, Nathaniel Gwynn of Newport News, VA, Lorraine Marbury of Newport News, VA, Christine Morris of Newport News, VA and Evelyn Harrod of Newport News, VA; and her grandsons, Johnathan, Joshua and Kenneth Starks. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
