He is survived by : his wife Joanne Spata (Russo); his sibling Filippa Spata (Gascia); his daughter Colleen Slason (Eugene) of Burlington, CT; his siblings, Victor Spata (Genevieve) of Stratford, CT, Lucille Targonski (Paul) of Stuart, FL and John Spata (Cathy) of Stuart, FL.; his grandchildren, Alexa Spata of Nashville, TN, Marcella and Nathaniel Slason of Burlington, CT; and his daughter-in-law June Spata of Tennessee. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
