He is survived by: his parent Olga Josephson (Larson); his daughters, Lynn Scimone (Fred) of Wallingford and Leigh Giampietro (Phil) of Cheshire; his grandchildren, Rebecca Welch (Kevin), Philip Giampietro (Jess), John Scimone (Faith), Brian Giampietro (Katie) and Michelle Weiss (Karl); and his sister Stina Neal of Cheshire. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
