She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Peter Oppenheim; her parents, Frederick Louis August Brinkmeyer and Kathleen Elizabeth Bowles (Kay); her children, Christopher Schrumm of Alexandria and Elizabeth Schrumm Swann (Jimmy Swann) of Raleigh; her sister Kathleen (Sheldon Dill) of Cheshire; her nephews, Alexander Dill of New Britain and Matthew Dill (Adrianne Dill) of Middletown; her niece Lorrie Calabrese Keller of Fenton; her grandsons, Winston and Gideon Schrumm; and her sister Fern Calabrese of Fenton, Missouri..
In lieu of flowers, a donation in Riki's name can be made to Connecticut Hospice in Branford or Smilow Cancer Center at Yale University.
