She was predeceased by: her brother William Murphy, Jr.. She is survived by: her siblings, Robert Murphy of Newington and Jan; her husband Richard A. Sokoloff; her son Mark Sokoloff (Sandra Sokoloff) of Portland; her granddaughter Taylor Sokoloff; and her pet Ethan.

She fought a long battle with Alzheimer's.
