He was predeceased by: his parents, William L McCarthy and Margaret McCarthy (Lehane); and his siblings, Billy, Joe, Richard, Helen and Peggy.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy McCarthy (Grey); his children, John (Janet) of Manchester, MO, Matthew (Kelly) of New Hartford, CT and Ellen McCarthy (Brian) of Cheshire; his grandchildren, Jessica, Travis (Dani), Michael, Douglas, Devon, Mallory, Lauren, Matthew (Gabbie) and Molly; and his great grandchildren, Braxton and Bryson.
