He was predeceased by: his siblings, Leonard Kingston, Margaret Neville and Ella Ferris; and his parents, John J. Kingston and Edna Mae Wiffen Kingston.
He is survived by: his wife Dolores Kingston (DeCapua); and his sons, John W. Kingston, Jr. of Vermont, Edward Kingston of Hamden and Christopher Kingston of Wallingford. He is also survived by grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
