She was predeceased by: her husband Albert J. Schiro; her mother Elsie Costello (Guzzi); her siblings, Donald, George Costello and Beverly Perroni (Costello); and her grandson Evan Simón.
She is survived by: her children, Jane Simon (Jorge), Mark Schiro and Gail Schiro; her grandchildren, Janine Greenspan (Benjamin), Arielle Martins and Randall Martins (Megan); her great grandchildren, Grayson, Adalyn Greenspan and Jack Levi Martins; her nephew J. Vincent Chase; and her friend Marcy Poppel. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, cousins.
