It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marian Markovich McIlvin of Cheshire, Connecticut, who passed away on November 3, 2021, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Viola Ruth (Wahlig) and Charles Klatt; her husbands, William Markovich and Robert McIlvin; her siblings, Charles Klatt, Jr., Elizabeth Klatt and Ruth Patt Olson; and her sons, Nicholas and Peter Markovich.
She is survived by: her daughters, Marilyn Markovich Shesko and Elizabeth Markovich DiMaio (Alfred); her grandchildren, Nina DiMaio Leon (Sergio), Benjamin DiMaio (Tara) and Elizabeth Shesko (Adam Wallace); and her great grandchildren, Ewing, Dominic, Jayden, Rebecca and Grant. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Independent until the pandemic, Marian was grateful to her daughters and the medical professionals at Elim Park who made it possible for her to remain in her apartment.
