She was predeceased by: her parents, Aristides Ruiz and Maria Rojas Ruiz; her siblings, Hector, Ignacio Ruiz, Aldemiro Ruiz, Elida Lenis, Ana Ruiz and Melba Lucy Ruiz; and her daughter Yamilet Hernandez.
She is survived by: her husband Wilfredo Hernandez; her children, Wilfred Hernandez, Maribel Hernandez, Diana Hernandez-DeGroat (Kyle) and Janette Hernandez Walker (Samuel); her siblings, Maruja Ruiz, Edith Salcedo, Alba Hernandez, Camila Ruiz and Sady Ruiz; her grandchildren, Isabella Hernandez, Diego Hernandez, Alexandria DeGroat, Ian Walker and Ava Walker; and her great grandchild Kairo Martinez. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire (615 S Main St, Cheshire, CT 06410). A Mass will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Bridget Church (175 Main St, Cheshire, CT 06410). A burial will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM at the Cheshire Hillside Cemetery (166 Wallingford Rd, Cheshire, CT 06410).
