He was predeceased by: his parents, Argirios Halkias and Artemisia Halkias (Kapetanakis). He is survived by: his wife Kokona; his children, Argirios Halkias (Anastasia) of Bristol and Rigopoula Halkias (Dimitrios Magriplis) of Cheshire; his grandchildren, Kokona Magriplis, Michail Magriplis, Minas Halkias, Andronikos Halkias and Hronis Magriplis; his siblings, John Halkias of Maryland, Stamatina Rigopoulis of New Jersey, Michalis Kapetanakis of Greece, Evodoxia Ioannidis of Greece and Sophia Tsoukalis of Greece; and his siblings-in-law, Andreas Diakidis, Kalliope Hatzikostis and Marika Pellegrinis.
