He was predeceased by: his sister Joy Edson Carle. He is survived by: his spouse Jean Edson (Coulter); his parent Ralph A. Edson Sr.; his wife Ruth Edson (Newcomb); his children, Greg (Stephanie Edson) of Waterbury and Cassie (Rune Bergstrom) of Norway; his sister Patricia Quinton of Virginia; his grandchildren, Erik, Glenn, Ben, Josh and Sam; and his great grandchild Aaron.
