He was predeceased by: his wife Emily Fornari Paier; and his parents, Henry Paier and Elizabeth Dolecki Paier. He is survived by: his children, Leslie Aceto (Joseph) and Raymond Paier (Leslie); and his grandchildren, Amanda, Nicholas, Michael, Christopher and Caitlin.
