He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph F. Schena and Corinne Schena; his son Greg Schena; and his brother Bob. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen Schena (Murray); his children, Bob Schena (Melissa) of Cheshire, Matt Schena (Taynor Muanghom) of Boston, Christine Murray of Hampton, NH and Patrice Schena of Oviedo, FL; and his grandchildren, Max, Ian, Saer Murray, Dan, Ben Schena, Estelle, Pierre, Olivia Cachat, Danielle and Samantha Grenon.
