She was predeceased by: her parent Adam Iovine. She is survived by: her parent Ruth Swenson Dawson; her former husband Robert Boak; her spouse Raymond Gelineau; her daughter Robin L. Pierce of Scottsdale, Arizona; her grandchildren, Kristen Pierce of Monkton and Michael Pierce of San Anselmo, California; and her great grandchildren, Liam Peterson, Miles Peterson, Isaac Pierce and Maggie Pierce.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to Southern Connecticut State University (SCSU) Foundation Fund, 501 Crescent St., New Haven, CT 06515.
