It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sheila McReavy of Cheshire, Connecticut, born in Bangor, Maine, who passed away on January 5, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald McReavy; her parents, William David Tardiff and Eileen Welch Tardiff; her sister Carolyn Tremble; and also, James, David and Charles Tardiff.
She is survived by: her children, Kelly McReavy of Southington, CT and Katheen McReavy Kassouf (Scott) of Milford, CT; her grandchildren, Matthew Washburn of Barre, VT, Rebecca Washburn of Southington, CT, Sean Kassouf of Delmar, MD and Justin Kassouf of Plainfield, CT.; and her siblings-in-law, Clifford McReavy (Joan) of Mechanicsville, NY, Carolyn Tardiff and Jean Tardiff. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Sheila's funeral will start at 9:15 A. M, Saturday, August 28, 2021 from the funeral home and proceed to St. Bridget Church, 175 Main St, Cheshire, 06410 for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 A. M. Masks and social distancing are required.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cheshire Community Food Pantry, 175 Sandbank Road, Cheshire, CT 06410.
