He was predeceased by: his parents, Cosmo Sr. and Anna Proto (Aceto); and his siblings, Cosmo Jr. and Paul Proto. He is survived by: his sister Patricia Fisco (Ralph) of Northford; his nieces, Kimberly McKnight (Ervin Peterson) and Nicole Proto of Tampa Fla; his nephew Paul C. Proto of Oregon; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Nicholas McKnight (Cassandra) of Cheshire, Justin McKnight-Appleby of Cheshire, Timothy Proto of Tampa Fla, Nina McKnight-Appleby of Cheshire and Orla Proto of Oregon. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins, and MANY friends.
