He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Melvin and Evelyn Matilda Ward (Arent); and his brother-in-law Walter Weir. He is survived by: his wife Linda Ward (Moorehead); his children, Carolyn (David Bradley IV) of Cheshire and Steve (Rachel Ward) of Brooklyn, NY; his sister Lois Weir of St. Petersburg, FL; and his grandchildren, Allison, Katherine, Madeline and Finley.
