Theresa Lucia Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Theresa Lucia (Cheshire, Connecticut), born in Waterbury, Connecticut, who passed away on January 17, 2022, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Domenic Lucia; her parents, Michael Atterrato and Mary Atterrato (Berardi); and her siblings, Gaetano Atterrato, Dolores DiOrio, Marie Johnson and Edith Sica.
She is survived by: her daughter Sandra Phelan (John) of Plantsville; her grandchildren, John Phelan III (Sandy) of Southington and Laura Phelan of West Hartford; her great grandchildren, Mary Tolisano of Southington and Cara Phelan of Southington; and her sister Jane Tammaro of Wolcott. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
