He was predeceased by: his parents, William John Maloney Sr and Lillian Maloney (Halloran); his sister Sally Maloney; his brother-in-law John Nowicki; and his pet Morris.

He is survived by: his wife Rosita of Cheshire, CT; his son Michael of Somerville, MA; and his sister Patricia Nowicki of Orange, CT. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
