With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Mack H. Elder of Cromwell, Connecticut, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Mack left this world on June 19, 2025 at the age of 73, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Rutledge and Eugene Tarlton; and his daughter Diane Marie Elder (Patricia Elder). He is survived by: his daughters, Chasity Elder, Sabina Elder, Raven Singleton and Torian Erker (Jay); his grandchildren, Michael Elder, Mya George, Jackson Erker and Ellie Erker; his brother-in-law Roger Thomas; and his friends, Bobby and Linda Dantzler.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Cross Street AME Zion Church (440 West St, Middletown, CT 06457). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Connecticut State Veteran Cemetery (317 Bow Ln, Middletown, CT 06457).
