He is survived by : his wife Dianna Bates Smith; his siblings, Donald Smith (Sharon) and Dorothy Bergstrom; his siblings-in-law, Mary Ann Bates and Dr. Robert Burgess; and his friends, Ray, Muriel Morris, Marv, Bernita Bush, Patrick and Kathy Velanzon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
