He is survived by: his wife Anne; and his children, David (Melissa), William (Krista), Thomas (Lie-Chyau), John (Lesley) and Natalie Elkins (Jeff). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the East Granby Congregational Church, to the Homer Congregational Church, or to the Salvation Army.
