She was predeceased by: her spouse Francis Caswell; her parents, E. Carroll Houghton and Mabel Houghton (Smith); and her son Paul. She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Mahoney (Caswell) of Southington and Karen Robson (Caswell) of East Hartford; and her grandchildren, Ryan Mahoney (Melissa) of Massachusetts, James Mahoney (Stacey) of Plainville, Kimberly Romano (Michael) of Ellington, Megan Wimp (Curt) of Kentucky, Jonathan Caswell (Sarah) of Coventry and Heather Garaffia (Daniel) of South Windsor. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home (419 Buckland Rd, South Windsor, CT 06074). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at the Rose Hill Memorial Park (580 Elm St, Rocky Hill, CT 06067).
