We are sad to announce that on June 22, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Despina Koulouris of East Hartford, Connecticut. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Tsambikos Kehayias and Eirini Kehayias (Hatzinikolas); and her siblings, Maritsa, Demetris and Foula.

She is survived by : her husband Antonios Koulouris; her children, Spiro (Julia) of Wethersfield, Harry (Wendy) of Lower Burrell, PA and Irene of Oakland, CA.; her grandchildren, Elliana, Spiro and Kosta Koulouris; and her brother Kostas Kehayias. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Despina's name may be made to St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 433, Fairfield Ave. Hartford.

“We are saddened by Despina's passing. We remember her as a welcoming person whose delicious Greek food brought so much of her love of family and fun to many gatherings. She was an integral part of Spiro and Julia's lives as the Ya-Ya who helped care for Kosta as an infant and toddler, playng games and passing on her Greek heritage. Cynthia and Ken Hasz”
