She was predeceased by : her spouse Jagath Naraine; her parents, Lester Thomas and Lelia Thomas (Burston); her grandson Steven Naraine, Jr.; her son-in-law Carlton Parkinson; and her siblings, Howard Thomas, Edgar Thomas, Leonard Thomas, David Thomas, Otis Thomas, Fredrick Thomas, Mary Thomas, Inez Cowles and Willie Mae Sanford.

She is survived by : her children, Steven Naraine, Sr. (Jill) of Windsor, Rohan Naraine, Vishnue Naraine of East Hartford, Krish Naraine of Bloomfield and Seeta Parkinson of Hartford; her grandchildren, Branden Naraine (Janna), Kashden Naraine, Sarah, Kriscia Naraine, Kiley Naraine and Erikka Parkinson; her great grandchildren, Harper Naraine and Brooklyn Lee; her siblings, Charles Thomas (Ovetta) of Johnson City, TN, Barbara Bryant and Patricia Thomas of Bloomfield; her sister-in-law Sindie Thomas of East Hartford; her friend Mable Lawson; and also Shirley Campbell. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
