Margarita C. Colon Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Margarita C. Colon of East Hartford, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 8, 2025 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Juan Colon; her parents, Antonio Candelaria and Eugenia Candelaria (Mercado); and her children, Mariana Feliciano, Francisco Colon, Juan Colon Jr. and Pedro Colon.
She is survived by: her daughter Margarita Carrero; and her children-in-law, Adolfo Carrero, Francisca Colon, Lydia Colon and Eufemio Feliciano. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home (1276 Berlin Turnpike, Wethersfield, CT 06109). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Augustine Church (10 Campfield Ave, Hartford, CT 06114). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at the Cedar Hill Cemetery (453 Fairfield Ave, Hartford, CT 06114).
