He was predeceased by : his parents, Percy Pierre and Elsie Springer; and his brothers, Charles, Hilton and Stanley Springer.

He is survived by : his close friend Carlene; and his siblings, Margaret, Rosie, David and Michael Springer. He is also survived by his children and their spouses; and many grandchildren.
