He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Frank and Margaret Manson Schietinger; his close friend Victoria Walkoviak; and his sisters, Barbara Niles and Lois Schietinger.
He is survived by: his wife Katherine D'Andrea Schietinger; his children, Glenn R. Schietinger (Judy), Bryan Schietinger (Jen), Ken Schietinger and Rick Schietinger; his grandchildren, Jocelyn and Tate; his sister Sally Cavey (Richard); his sibling-in-law Jesse Walkoviak (Leigh Ann); his sibling's children, Haileigh, Zachary, Caiden and Cynthia Wilson (Bill); and his great-nieces, Stella and Sadie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
