In the sacred silence of farewell, Marie is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Marie's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Matazzaro and Sarah Matazzaro; her husband Pat; and her brothers, Frederick, Anthony and Joseph Matazzaro.
She is survived by: her sons, Joseph and Michael Streeto (Patricia); and her sister-in-law Joyce Streeto. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and her special friends.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish at the Church of St. Vincent DePaul (80 Taylor Ave, East Haven, CT 06512).
