With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Massimino of East Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on May 2, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his spouse Marion Coello Massimino; his parents, Miguel Massimino and Filomena Viva Massimino; and his siblings, Frank Massimino, Tecla Marcondi and Mary DeLucia.
He is survived by : his children, Michael A. Massimino and Mary Jane Massimino; his great grandchildren, Giulietta Rose and Luca Gennaro; his daughter-in-law Lisa Amato; and his girlfriend Gloria Daly.
A mass of christian burial was held on Thursday, May 6th 2021 at 11:00 AM at the St. Michael Church (29 Wooster Pl, New Haven, CT 06511). Visitation was held on Thursday, May 6th 2021 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the North Haven Funeral Home (36 Washington Ave, North Haven, CT 06473).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
