It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Ferencz of Easton, Connecticut, who passed away on October 18, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Dorothy's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Dorothy has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her husband George P. Ferencz; her parents, Andrew Kosha and Mary Kosha (Pancurak); and her sister Frances Sampson. She is survived by: her daughters, Joan Schick (Thomas) of Easton and Jill Ingram (Scott) of Easton; and her grandchildren, Brennan, Carsen and Tyler. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 9:15 AM to 10:15 AM at the Adzima Funeral Home (50 Paradise Green Pl, Stratford, CT 06614). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Easton Church (655 Morehouse Rd, Easton, CT 06612). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 12:45 PM at the St. John's Cemetery (2610 Nichols Ave, Stratford, CT 06614).
