He was predeceased by : his siblings, Louella Nicolari and Jerome Becker. He is survived by : his wife Carol Waldmann Becker; his sons, John Becker of Burlington, VT, Greg Becker (Jane) of Fairfield, CT and Jason Becker (Caroline) of Easton, CT; his grandchildren, Katherine, Ella Becker, Natalie, Matthew, Daniel, Emily Becker, Lillian and Victoria Becker; his siblings, Virginia White (Annapolis, MD), Joseph Becker of Cohasset, MA and James Becker (Milford); his friend Al Russo (Brenda); his brother Joe; and his sister-in-law Kathy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made the Beth-El Center at 90 New Haven Avenue in Milford, Connecticut, where John volunteered in the soup kitchen for many years.
