She was predeceased by: her husband John J. Mientus; her parents, Harold Arnold and Althea Arnold (Selleck); and her siblings, George, Edgar, Justice, Ernest Arnold, Marion, Ruth, Dorothy and Nancy Arnold.
She is survived by: her sons, John Mientus of Enfield, Paul Mientus (Debbie) of Colchester and David Mientus of Broadbrook; her grandchildren, Tammy Usher (Steven), Christopher Ballar-Mientus (Neir), Philip Mientus (Tara) and Steven Mientus; her great grandchildren, Emilee Waterhouse, Aubree Usher and Amanda Mientus; her sister Joan Kay Kendall of Longview, TX; and her friend Kathi Else. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
