He was predeceased by: his brother Terrence; and his grandson Matthew. He is survived by: his parents, Robert Gillespie and Helena Reynolds Gillespie; his wife Molly Granahan Gillespie; his sister Maureen Andrews; and his children, Bobby, Kevin, Kenny, Karen O'Hara, Denise Gagnon, Charles Redin and Michelle Keane-Taylor.
