She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Leonard and Jane Leonard (Kite); her husband Stephen Penley; and her sisters, Connie P. Leonard Sanders and Vicky Jean Leonard.
She is survived by: her daughters, Stephanie Penley Threlkeld (Steven Threlkeld) of Hopkinton, MA and Andrea Penley Strouth (Gregory Strouth) of Somers, CT; her grandchildren, Lillian Threlkeld, Hallie Strouth and Elle Strouth; and her siblings, Larry Leonard (Paulette) of Bristol, TN and Carol Smith (Gary) of Bluff City, TN. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
