She was predeceased by: her parents, Jean Downey and Michael LeRoy. She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Belcher (Brian) of Somers, CT and Julie Lavallee (Rene) of Durham, CT; her grandson Brian Belcher of Somers, CT; her siblings, Georgeanne Smith of Leland, NC, Peggy Hoffman of Leland, NC, Jane Soule of Enfield, CT, Michelle Barone, Michael LeRoy of Enfield, CT and Sean LeRoy of East Longmeadow, MA; and her cousins, Kathleen and Denise. She is also survived by numerous nieces, a nephew.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that remembrances be made in the form of contributions to the American Lung Association.
