He is survived by: his parents, Norman Sawyer and Maryann Dunganier Sawyer; his daughter Shannon Sawyer (Daniel Peruccio); his sisters, Sharon McCarthy and Debra Thome; his nieces and nephews, Jennifer McCarthy-Lemons (Shane Lemons), Shawn McCarthy and Matthew Strumpfler (Rebecca Lavoie); and his great-nieces, Alice McCarthy and Dorothy Lemons.
