She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parent Diana M. Edwards (Lavarnway); her husband Steven M. LaPlante; her children, Jonathan D. Hanna of Chicopee, Julia D. Hanna of Chicopee and Austin C. Hanna of Chicopee; her father John J. Edwards (Sheila Rollend) of Chicopee; her siblings, Lorrie A. Carlson (Robert) of Broad Brook, CT, Jason J. Edwards of Chicopee and Eric Whateley of Chicopee; her pets, Wolfie and Gypsy; and her sister Cheryl Lynn Edwards. She was also cherished by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
In lieu of flowers and because of Gina's love of her early education, her family requests that memorial donations be made in her memory to Saint Joan of Arc School, 587 Grattan Street, Chicopee, MA 01020.
