He was predeceased by: his parents, Salvatore Cerrigione and Cologera 'Lena' Cerrigione (Rini); his grandson James Polowitzer; and his siblings, Salvatore 'Sammy Cerrigione, Michael Cerrigione, John Cerrigione, Lucy Banks, Mary Samartino, Anna Peralli, Antoinette Garite, Marguerite Cerrigione and Jeanette Couch.
He is survived by: his wife Karin Cerrigione (McCarty); his children, James M. Cerrigione, Jr. (Donna McEachern) of Bolton, Marty C. Cerrigione (Claire-Louise) of Enfield, Milena Cushman (Scott Myers) of Broad Brook and Kathleen Gail Kirby (Eugene) of Enfield; his sisters, Catherine 'Kitty Harris and Leona Norris of Meriden; his daughter-in-law Cindy Cerrigione; and his sister-in-law Shirley Cerrigione of Tolland. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
