He was predeceased by: his parents, James W. "Bud" Watton and Shirley May Watton (Wing); and his brother Gary F. Watton. He is survived by: his pet Smokey; his sons, James "Jimi" Watton IV (Pauline Greer) of East Granby and Robert "Bob" Watton (Sheila L. Watton) of Woodbury; his siblings, William "Bill" Salinardi (Susan) and Patty Caramazza (Watton); his grandchildren, Jimi Watton V and Katrina Watton; his nieces, Darbi Leite (Caramazza) and Amy Salinardi; his nephew Joseph M. Caramazza II; his great-nieces, Sarah Leite and Kaila Pirnie; his great-nephew Ryan Leite; and also Richard.
