She was predeceased by : her significant other Carmen J. Scavotto; her son David Scavotto; and her siblings, Dr. John Cockayne, Ruth Crafts and Kathryn Karish Litke.
She is survived by : her children, Maureen (Robert Sampl), Denise (David Thomson), Laurie Scavotto of Winfield, Mark (Lynn Scavotto), Michael (Robin Scavotto), Ann (William Landry), Mary (Keith Sanderson) and Robert (Alouf Scavotto). She is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 10 great- grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid 19 concerns, a private Funeral Mass celebrating Jean's life will be held at St. Bernard Church for her immediate family only with private burial following at Hazardville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jeanne Jugan Parish/St Bernard Church, 426 Hazard Ave., Enfield, CT 06082; Autism Society (Autism-Society.org) or The Les Turner Foundation (LesTurnerALS.org).
