She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Smith and Rose Smith (Bowers); her brother Richard L. Smith; and her granddaughters, Jennifer and Heather.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Hammond (Marina) of Enfield and Lori Hammond of East Windsor; her sister Gloria Hall of Hartford; and her grandchildren, Derek, Rachel, Marisa and Michael.
