He was predeceased by: his parent Joseph F.. He is survived by: his spouse Mary Jane "Midge" Pych (Shea); his parent Anne T. Pych (Tamulis); his sister Patricia McGuiness of Manchester, CT; his children, Joseph Pych (Robin) of Hanover, NH, Michael Pych (Anastasia) of Durham, CT, Kimberly Rodriguez (Pych) and Matthew Pych of Jackson Heights, NY.; his grandchildren, Sam, Curtis, Gianna, Evan, Regan, Zoe and Dziadziu; his brother-in-law Wayne York of East Granby, CT; his sister Kathleen; his siblings-in-law, Daniel Shea (Gail) of Middleton, WI and Rosemary Matton of Windsor Locks, CT; and his nieces and nephews, Colleen Albert (Jon) of Middlefield, CT, Angela Gegetskas (Paul) of Windsor, CT, Jeffrey York (Michelle) of West Hartford, CT and Rick Matton (Mikiko). He is also survived by aunts, cousins, and many great friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Connecticut Law Memorial Foundation, P.O. Box 815, Glastonbury, CT 06033-0815, which honors Joe's father who died in the line of duty as a police officer.
