He was predeceased by: his parents, Lincoln Bascom and Eleanor Bascom (Vanderpoel). He is survived by: his wife Mary E. Bascom (Smyth); his stepdaughter Elizabeth (Joshua Stricker) of Key West, FL; his children, Katy Hogan (Matthew) of Windsor Locks, Stephen Bascom of Liverpool, Molly Bascom of Liverpool, Anne Bascom of Liverpool, Lewis Bascom of Liverpool and John Bascom of Brother Mayol, OSB; his grandson Killian Stricker; and his siblings, Christopher Bascom of Holyoke, Jonathan Bascom, Roy Bascom of Westfield, MA, Pamela Johnston and Cynthia Bascom of Greenfield, MA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
