He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Higgins and Patricia Legare (Donnelly). He is survived by: his children, Jessica Leary (Ronald Jr.) of Agawam, MA and Timothy Higgins (Ieva) of Granby; his grandchildren, Samantha, Marissa Leary, Nora and Cyrus Higgins; his siblings, David Higgins of Pittsfield, ME, Susan Prior (Paul) of Limerick, ME, Donald Higgins (Denise) of Newport, ME and Kim Marchand of Danielson; and his aunt Joyce Banks of South Windsor. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
