He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis P. Murphy and Irma Murphy (Gordon); his daughter Michelle Murphy; and his brothers, Ronald and Richard Murphy.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Murphy (Barber); and his children, Kimberly Kelleher (William) of Enfield, Charles Henry (Wendy) of Deland, FL, Shelley Shor (Sanford) of Easton, MA, Christopher Sanford (Jennifer) of Woodland, WA, Heather Bruce (Sanford), Joseph of Clermont, FL, Shawn Murphy of Wisconsin and Erik Sanford (Amy) of Plainville, MA.. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.
Donations in memory of Robert may be made to the American Lung Association and Lung Transplant Foundation.
