She was predeceased by: her husband Vernon B. Ellis; her parents, Howard Slaney and Elsie Goff Slaney (Allen); and her son Vernon E. Ellis. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Michael Edward Ellis Sr. (Lisa), Jessica Milam and Tina Addison; her great grandchildren, Michael Ellis Jr., Reese Ellis, Aaron Ellis, Ayana McDoanld, Lucas McDonald, Allison Milan, Madison Merciers and Miley Addison; and her pet Sassy.
